Explanations for website visitors

It is what it is:

We offer free content that has cost work time to create and would like to be empowered to continue creating and offering content. Of course, these sites are also for direct product marketing. Of course, it would be great to generate income with blog posts.

Ads can only be booked directly with us and tracking by age and user groups is excluded. Geotracking, by country we may have in mind. In this respect, it is unclear whether it makes sense at all.

The so-called static pages remain ad-free, if they do not contain, for example, games, downloads or other free fun articles. Blog pages will also contain advertising, if possible, just like browser games themselves.

Ads can be ignored, rejected or blocked – and yet accessibility to the information, the data content of the website must be guaranteed.

I wonder, with all the cultural protection, protection of the individual and the right to freedom of information, why private but especially public television broadcasters do not have ad-free channels (children’s channels excepted). If it were a matter of being able to quickly close one’s eyes and ears when advertising is announced, – we could do that too!

All wrong?  Basic idea of the right to privacy protection in relation to cookies and tracking?

Absolutely right: All wrong. The following is certainly not understandable for Facebook users, Instagram followers, Twitter twitterers and users of other non-EU services when they get upset about advertising on “their” (free) platforms”. Congratulations. You have long since given your consent to the tracking of your user behavior there.

It’s cute how AfDers try to keep a good tone in order not to be blocked by the hated US-controlled provider.

Back to the issue of “right to access elsewhere IF adequate consideration is offered vs. release of user behavior.”

Of course there are different business models: acquisition of the relevant data digitally or on paper. Establishment of a paid members area.

In the current phase, without experience, we nevertheless already have to make sure that the ads also meet the interests of the visitors. If we succeed in ensuring that – subject to existing algorithms – advertising does not serve as a nuisance, but also as information – ideally, as information on an individual “problem” solution – at least with an increasing share, we would have a healthy structure.

Nevertheless, our content is crucial. I reject the strategy of grueling surveys or the 30 funniest fishing accidents to create display space, for better or worse. Anyone who visits this site and their first click is on an ad is a loss to us, unless the ad sparked more than curiosity or was a welcome distraction.

Small hint still to the AfD-Facebook -users: Also Facebook becomes more expensive, because your friend in Russia (indirectly) raises the electricity prices. Friendship and trust in friendship and the resulting responsibility is one of the core themes of Dragomar.

The Kids section remains free of ads and own product ads. The “bedtime stories” section is not in the kids section as a read-aloud section.
